My full name is Leroy Steven Topping. I started my career as a truck driver for the railroad and finished after 30 years of operating an overhead crane that loaded and unloaded containers on the rail. I retired at the age of 51 with a pension, which gave me the freedom to travel with my wife and to enjoy my grandchildren as babies and help care for them.

My business philosophy is simple: I don’t sell, I educate. I’m just a guy who enjoys talking to people and I think that comes through to people, that I’m not trying to sell them anything, that I don’t have an agenda other than to possibly help them save money and secure their future income. So, all of my business comes through referrals of people who have been satisfied with my service. I ask them what their retirement goal is, and I run through scenarios for them to show them how to reach that goal. That’s my so-called process in a nutshell.

I now have 40 years of experience in helping people with retirement planning. I try to eliminate market volatility and give them the peace of mind of knowing that their money is always there. What I have learned is that people want safety, stability and a guaranteed lifetime income for both spouses.

I have lived with a pension and Social Security as guaranteed income. Now, my passion is to show others how to create guaranteed income for life, a monthly paycheck that just keeps coming. The peace of mind it provides comes without worrying about market volatility. Life can be worry-free with regard to money when you take away all the risk. I help people accomplish this goal and retire happy.

I am 67 years old and still have a passion to work until I physically can’t anymore. Staying healthy and exercise is a way of life for me, and I am at the gym every day or active at something. I still do my own yard work and wash my cars at home.

I was raised with a love for cars and boats. I currently have a 1964 Chevy pickup and a 1982 Corvette. I also, have an old ski boat (1970), still slalom ski and love to spend time with my grandkids on the water. In fact, one of my goals is to be able to give an old classic car to each one of my grandkids when I leave this world.

I have been blessed to be married for over 40 years to my beautiful wife named Kori. We love doing everything together and have been blessed with three children and eight grandchildren. My son, Justin, is the oldest and is a Marine. He spent eight years in the Marine Corps and is a pilot. He flew the CH-46 on his first deployment and the Osprey on his second deployment. He is now just beginning his career with the airlines. He is married to his beautiful wife, Katie, who is a doctor in the United States Navy. They have three children—two boys and one girl (Roenn, Rocco and Mia).

My daughter, Ashly, is a schoolteacher and is married to a fine young man, Brad, who is a commercial loan officer for a local bank. Together, they have three children, two boys and a girl (Landon, Emmett and Allie). My youngest daughter, Andra, is a cosmetologist, but now is a stay- at-home mom of two children, (Hadley and Huck). She is married to another fine young man, Carl, who is also a Marine and my son’s best friend. He is now the COO of a private Christian school and also a real estate investor.

I love spending my time with family and friends. My wife was raised in the church with a strong faith in the Lord and I share that belief, also. Consequently, all my children have a strong faith and now we are raising our grandchildren to know Jesus. I have been truly blessed with the love of family.
